R.V. Baugus Tex Preps Basketball Magazine Annual is the high school varsity basketball authority and the official publication of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC).  Published annually with a late September release (just in time for fall high school basketball season) Tex Preps Basketball Magazine is a statewide publication distributed through most major bookstores and available through this website.

Our Audience:
As the TABC’s official publication, Tex Preps Basketball Magazine serves the 4,000+ Texas high school boys/girls varsity and middle school coaches and their staffs.  Additionally, Tex Preps concentrates its circulation efforts on high school principals, athletic directors and basketball booster clubs.  The magazine is also building high awareness at the school district level among athletic directors and superintendents.

Unique Editorial:
Tex Preps Basketball Magazine is the collaborative effort of hundreds of Texas high school boys/girls coaches who have submitted their varsity player information and predictions for district champions and the Top 50 high school basketball players for this year.  Therefore, the magazine contains thousands of player and coaches names – a commemorative publication for the Texas boys/girls varsity basketball participant, their families and friends.
